Blue Tech Connect 2025
What: A one-of-a-kind event featuring BC and Canada’s top early stage ocean ventures. Attendees heard presentations from the pilot cohort of Blue Action Canada, and listened to world-leading experts on ocean innovation from Canada’s Ocean Supercluster, Founders Factory, and Blue Action.
Client: COAST

Result: A sold out event generating intense awareness of a promising array of startups in B.C.’s sustainable ocean economy, also showcasing their innovations to investors from around the world as an adjunct to Web Summit.


Century Celebration 2025
What: A community celebration marking 100 years since the Victoria Cougars won the Stanley Cup.
Client: Victoria Hockey Legacy Society
Services: sponsorship and marketing engagement, including advertising, social media, sponsorship sales and support.
Result: 2.8 million impressions in social media, digital, print, radio and TV reach and impressions impressions and over 5,000 attendees of the festival.
Rising Economy 2020 – 2025
What: An online and in-person conference engaging attendees in discussions and insights on challenges, trends and opportunities relevant to Greater Victoria’s economy and business landscape.
Client: South Island Prosperity Partnership
Services: community engagement, social media promotion, media buys, sponsor sales, event manager.
Result: 3 million+ in social media, digital, print, radio and TV reach and impressions impressions and a sold-out conference in 2024 and 2025.
The conference won the Gold Award for Special events at the 2021 Economic Development Awards, presented by the International Economic Development Council.


Awakening Chinatown, 2023 – 2025
What: A community festival promoting Chinese Canadian culture and highlighting the history of Victoria’s Chinatown.
Client: Victoria Chinatown Museum Society
Services: Custom marketing, communications and sponsor engagement strategy; writing and distributed media releases; handling media interviews; managing paid digital, print, radio, and TV media buys; managing social media promotion.
Result: Over 6 million impressions via paid and earned media. Secured media sponsorships to maximize advertising buys. Thousands of people attend the festival, which is growing in awareness and reach each year.
Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada – Victoria 2024
What: Leading sponsorship sales for the local organizing committee for the annual event, in Victoria for the first time January 20 – 24, 2024.
Client: Victoria Hockey Legacy Society
Services: We drew up a prospecting list and sought cash and in kind sponsorships to cover the cost of producing the event, as well as managing sponsorship engagement and acknowledgement.
Result: Over $500,000 in local sponsorship support raised.

MicroStart 2021
What: An awareness campaign to boost enrolment in micro-credential courses offered by the University of Victoria and Royal Roads University
Client: South Island Prosperity Partnership
Services: community partner engagement, social media promotion, digital ad buys.
Result: Over 9,000 website visits; 900 registrants and an overall satisfaction rate of 4.5 out of 5. The campaign received the Silver Award for Partnerships with Education at the 2021 Economic Development Awards, presented by the International Economic Development Council.


Personal Tax Season, 2020
What: Driving traffic and conversions for a Victoria-owned business during tax season
Client: Freedom Accounting
Services: Advertising and content marketing strategy, including developing messaging and creative; managing media buys and social media promotion; running Google Adwords campaign; writing blogs and newsletters.
Result: 316% increase in web traffic, 566,000 impressions through paid social; 380,000+ reach through digital advertising; 1,000+ personal tax returns completed.

Island Good Pilot Program, 2018
What: A pilot program to test customer engagement with the new brand Island Good, which labels locally-produced food and beverage in participating retailers.
Client: Vancouver Island Economic Alliance
Services: event launch marketing and publicity strategy and coordination in communities across Vancouver Island; writing and distributing media releases; handling media interviews; managing paid digital, print, radio, out of house, and TV media buys; managing social media promotion.
Result: Extensive editorial coverage in print, radio and TV, with over 4 million impressions in accompanying advertising reach. Strong customer engagement, with an average sales lift of 16.4% for food products made on Vancouver Island and sold in participating stores.
